What you need to write about YontaCAD. Everything on this page may be used without asking.
In one paragraph
YontaCAD is a free, open-source, offline-first parametric CAD for Windows, macOS and Linux. It models with sketches, features, parts, assemblies and drawings, saves to an open file format, and can be driven entirely from Python. There are no accounts, no telemetry and no paid tier; the project is funded by donations only. It was founded in 2026 by Arif Kalem and is licensed under the LGPL-2.1-or-later.

Using the name and the logo
The name YontaCAD and the YontaCAD logo are the project's trademarks. The code is licensed under the LGPL; the name and logo are not. You may, without asking, use the name and the unmodified logo to refer to the project, link to it, and make tutorials, courses, reviews and news about it. Modified versions (forks) may not use the name "YontaCAD" or the logo; they may say they are "based on YontaCAD". Not allowed: use that suggests an official release, endorsement or affiliation; modified or recoloured versions of the logo; collecting donations or money under the YontaCAD name.
Writing the name
Always YontaCAD: one word, capital Y and CAD.
